how far can you go?
ive been studying how far my Fit can go with a full tank.. my 2004 honda fit 1.5 engine can carry up to 55 liters of gas, and can only travel a total of 271.5km..is that even enough?
i dont know if its on my driving style..my pedal handling, or maybe some leaks? any ideas or suggestions for help.. thanks guys.. more power fitfreak

First off, I cannot confirm this, but I don't believe your car has a 55l capacity (14.5+ US Gallons)
Second, based on 55 liters of fuel and a range of 271km, you would be getting UNDER 12MPG. There is something seriously wrong with your figures or your car. Im hoping for your sake that it is the former.
For reference; I average between 545km (~340mi) and 595km (~370mi) to a tank (fill when warning light comes on, leaving ~1 gal reserve), which is total capacity of 10.8 US Gallons (40.9 L). Using 9.8 gallons as the fuel capacity consumed, that equates to 34 - 38mpg or 15 - 16 l/km . (Sport Package w/ Auto)

Gas milage does vary a lot depending on conditions and driving style. Driving steadily at moderately fast speeds (perhaps around 90 km/h) on flat roads will give the best mileage; stop and go driving, or driving over poor terrain (which requires slow driving), or driving at high speeds, or driving in very bad weather, or any number of other things will reduce the mileage more or less.
If you are indeed getting this sort of mileage, and not having to do a lot of very slow city driving or otherwise experiencing some rather unusual conditions, something may be wrong with the car. Most all people get considerably better mileage. You might be interested in poking around the fuelly site to get a general feel for what's reasonable to expect: Honda Fit MPG Reports | Fuelly
If you had a gasoline leak, you would almost certainly know it from the smell of gas, from the puddle underneath the car, or from the gas gauge going down while the car is parked. Gas leaks are (fortunately) rather uncommon problems.

Driving conditions, environment and styles are quite different there than in the US so distance traveled would be comparably irrelevant. You can go on sustained freeway speeds on one tank here in the US while you can probably consume half a tank there without getting too far...

A GD Jazz fuel tank holds just 45 L (11.9 US gal).
I've taken mine on long road trips. The longest I've run on a tank was 530 km or so (330 mi). This involved leaving the lowlands of Paranaque, a climb to Baguio up Marcos Highway...and around 1/3 of the trip going back home.
