Odd noise from passenger coilover

i have a set of bc racing coil overs installed and the passenger front side blew. Lots of oil spewed out and it was clearly blown. I've replaced it with a new cartridge and now I have this really faint but deep thumping noise every time I hit a small crack. I've tightened the top nut quite tightly and check the two bottom nuts and the sway bar nuts. Nothing is loose, I see no oil or anything out of the ordinary... When I go over a large crack or small hole, I feel like the whole wheel is super heavy and not dampening at all.

Has anyone encountered anything similar to this?

i remember some coilovers required longer endlinks than the stock ones on the GD.

i suggest temporarily unlinking the endlink on one side to narrow down where the problem is coming from. GL!

I have some clunking with my BC that I'm guessing the sway/end links binding.
