Hey guys Im new to the forum but I need help. My check engine light came on about a week ago and I after thinking about it I have no idea what caused it. Anyway, I was going to take it to a mechanic to get the code read but Ive always been a do-it-yourself kind of guy so I managed to find someone who had an Actron Cp9125 OBDII pocketscanner. I plugged it in and it gave me codes P1172 and P2A00.....it also read P2A00 pending and P1172 pending. Never used one of these before so Im not sure what pending means lol. It also read that 8 monitors are ready and 0 are incomplete whatever that means lol. Just need help figuring out what it is I need to replace to fix those codes. thanks

 

oh, by the way I own a 2007 Honda Fit lol

 

From what I saw it may be related to the 02 Sensor which if it is emmision control may be still covered under warranty.

 

google the codes with honda prefixand you should get a good answer.

P1172 - Fuel Transfer Pump Flow Insufficient
P2A00 - HO2S Circuit Closed Loop (CL) Performance Bank 1 Sensor 1 (PCM)

bring it to the Honda dealership and have them sort out what is wrong
