Hi everyone

My 5th gear has been popping out when I've been doing 70mph on the motorway. I might drive 30 mile then it might do it then 2 mins later do it again then I might do another 30 mile and nothing happens! Very frustrating. I've checked transmission fluid and its fine and its even been to see a gear specialist but he couldn't find any problems
Could it be something as easy as the cables been seizing up or the rods loose??

Please please help.

 

maybe the synchros? assuming it's a manual lol. If the fluid is fine then you may need a rebuild. but I would do a fluid change first.
