Heat shield for apexi pod filter help

Hi guys,

Ive got the short ram apexi dual funnel filter installed, except it sits right next to the engine as many of you would know. Im looking for a heat shield to block off as much of the engine heat heating it from the bottom left as possible. Out of these 2 which would be most effective? Would the red one even fit? Im struggling to find dimension sizes of my filter online :S

or something more like this? The first one would seem it would be more effective?

I think the simota one will work best for you. It will block most of the heat but is still open enough to not cut down on the amount of air coming in.

This is for an intake system that is NOT stock and applies ONLY with the modified system.

If you mean the shield it's simple. Open the screw clamp holding the aftermarket filter in place. Insert the legs of the shield under the clamp and re-tighten.
