2008 Fit Sport totaled; how much should I ask for it?

61,000 miles on it, tires replaced. Fluid leaking, front end crashed. No custom parts. Airbags didn't go off.

Super bummed that I'm letting go of my car too soon, but I didn't have comprehensive collision coverage so I have to get rid of the car myself.

I know I don't have pictures posted but what's a good ballpark estimate for selling my totaled Fit?

Any feedback on this would be great because I feel totally lost, so thanks in advance.

well, you can search the inventory of places such as this:

East Coast Auto Source Quality Repairable Vehicles and Parts

They currently have two Fits in their inventory

BurntZ-thanks for that link-they have a huge inventory.
Too bad they're on the wrong side of the Country!

I have seen totaled Fits go for 5K or 6K at auction. It is impossible to determine or even guess what yours is worth without seeing some pictures. Since it is not going through an insurance company it will keep a "clean" rather than rebuilt / salvage title if someone fixes it up again. That helps the value.

Since the air bags didn't deploy, have you thought about having a body shop give you an estimate?

Id just take it to a body shop, might be a lot cheaper in the long run then having to buy a different car with all the other crap
