i got a 2008 honda fit, on cold starts it doesnt go into reverse. have to shift first to first and then i might get lucky to get in reverse.

today i had issues going into first on cold start.

car has only 60000k

is there linkage i can adjust or do i need new oil?

hope its not something serious. any recommendations?

 

I cant shift into 1st sometimes even my car is warmed up. Try shift it back to neutral release the clutch and step on clutch put into 1st, works all the time for me.
