07 Fit Sport problems

New to the fit club...Just bought an 07 Fit Sport with A/T

It has 215K miles (mostly Hwy)

When it's cold, it runs rough in P but as soon as you put it in D it almost dies until you give it a little gas, but then once you put it back into P it goes back to a rough idle. once the cold light goes off you can put it into D and drives like normal. when it was cold it would run at 1500 to 2k RPMs and it took like 10 mins for it to warm up.

So I noticed that the fit was drinking some gas but the engine light wasnt on, then we pick up some people (had 5 people in the fit) and halfway to the store the engine light came on, so we had advance auto OBD2 it and the o2 sensor was the problem for bank 1 and also a misfire in #2 cylinder... So I bought a new denso oem and replaced that today and took the Neg off the battery then put it back on and the engine light went away. The 2nd time I started it up, there it was, the engine light. So I OBD2 it and got a code P0302 ( No. 2 cylinder misfire)

What could cause this? and how much would it be to fix it?

You need to go to the honda dealership and get your values adjusted!

It's going to be the best $200 you spend on your car

So, just to recap,

You are still experiencing a rough idle? And now, the only OBDII code is a misfire?

I'd change plugs, adjust valves, and inspect the coils for signs of arcing. If the misfire continues, replace all coils.

SEARCH "Constant speed stutter" for the Novella on coil symptoms.

If your car gets worst when the AC is on then ignition coils and maybe spark plugs need to be change. But if the car doesn't get worst then just do the value adjustment.

Hope the valve adjustment helps...

And we also are buying a high mileage Fit, 160k

The valve adjustment will be one of the first things I do.

It depends where you're getting the car and if you know that person.

Agree'd.

Car is in Michigan and actually I bought it brand new and sold it to a close friend, and I put the first 75k on it. Now time for round 2
