Fit needs some love

So I just installed a new o2 sensor and got that code off...

I just bought new spark plugs

and now looking into getting new Ignition Coils, what brand/part number do you recommend, HITACHI Part # IGC0053 or BECK/ARNLEY Part # 1788374 or maybe even a different brand.

I heard that Denso Coils are good, I bought some OEM for a cheap price but who knows

You realize that the OE plugs are Iridium, right? Double Plats will not work as long.

I didn't know that, thanks. I'll go back and swap these out for them.

Everyone on here swears by the Denso IK22, and some say they've tested them and seen a 3% increase in HP and MPG. I haven't tried em yet personally, but I plan on it.

*With higher octane fuel (91-93)

ECU will not take full advantage of the increased ignition timing without it due to knock. So be prepared to fill up with premium if you want to do this.

Didn't realize that. Still, I think the increase in MPG might offset the additional cost provided you drive accordingly, right?

A 3% increase in MPG will never offset a 10% increase in cost.

Nor will one ever feel a 3% increase in power.

No I don't think so. Some will say yes. I will say I feel it makes a difference running 91 performance wise in my GE. It's not earth shattering but different enough I don't mind spending an extra $2 a tank.

I didn't notice any fuel mileage gain.

Touchy subject here lol
