That depends on the horn an load required of it. If you get a high low kit you need a relay, if you just add a single small high tone horn you might be able to get away with just running off the stock wiring. I've done it before.

The right way to do it is use a relay, there's a few threads on here with how tos just replace brand name X with Y or whatever horn you chose. The concept is the same.

so you mean to say i can just tap with the harness available?,and yea thats what I was concerned about..the load of using two horns with one harness, ill go ahead and check the wirings..i hope someone has some DIY's with this.thanks!

Yeah there are some DIY horn threads on here.

Like I said, If it's just a small stock like horn you might be ok running inline with the stock horn. If it's a legit air horn type horn just use a relay they draw enough current to warrant a relay.

If it is too much load ,which I doubt, the added horn will simply pop the fuse. That is what the fuse is there for. I have done this on a number of vehicles with single horns. Horns are usually $5.00 for a pair at the junk yard. So I buy the pair and after I get home I choose which one of the pair I want to add to the vehicle. I have never had to add a relay or change a fuse for a pair of stock horns.
