P0718 Mainshaft Speed Sensor Intermittent Failure on 2007 Honda Fit

Hello,
I have 2007 Honda Fit Sport, L15A1 with 5AT transmission. All at once my engine light and "D" flashing came on. The car wouldn't upshift more than 3rd gear. I took it to local service to know what the problem is, and these code P0718. I found it on Google. It is a P0718 Mainshaft Speed Sensor Intermittent Failure. Does anyone where in the car is located? Any help would be great. I would like to do the job myself. I just need to know part mumber for sensor and where in the car its located. Thanks

The istructions are pretty good if you have experience with these kinds of sensors but may mislead you if its your first one.

Step 4 says install the oring but the pic shows it in font of the sensor. Make sure the oring is in the groove on the sensor and dont put the oring into the transmission first and the sensor in second. Oring goes on sensor and then sensor goes in. You would probably figure that out but I wanted to be sure.

The other more important thing missing from step 4 is to lightly lubricate the oring with clean transmission fluid so the oring doesnt get damaged during installation.

Thats it! Add then and youll be golden.

Hi everyone.
So I just bought Mainshaft Speed Sensor #28810-RPC-003 which fix the P0718 error code, but the issue is the same. Now i have P0717 code :-) So l'll have to buy countershaft speed sensor #28820-RPC-003. I hope that will fix the issue.

So, I changed the second speed sensor and it looks like this issue is fixed.
I bought and changed two speed sensors, i don´t know whitch is ´´mainshaft speed sensor´´ but the shortest fixed all problems. No CEL, no D light. Transmission work like a new :-)
