Will adding bride seats disable all airbags

I heard from a friend that once I unplug the airbag switch from the front seats once they are removed that a airbag light will show up on the dash and it won't only just be on it will disable ever single Airbag in the car. True or not?

If the airbag light comes on, then I'm guessing the computer automatically thinks the airbags are deployed? Maybe?

Not sure.

No, that's my answer with a question inside of it. lol

I'm sure you could try to unplug the SRS thing and see if the SRS light comes on.

Or you could maybe rip apart (okay, so you probably won't have to rip them apart) the seats and take the airbag 'unit' which the wire plugs into and keep that under your new seat?

I wouldn't want to keep the 'airbag' unit under the seat though Bc it would deploy right?

Only if you crash. It's a curtain airbag so it shouldn't blow your bottom off.

You can get resistors to plug into the plugs for the airbags on the harness side to make the srs ecu think there are still airbags present, this also allows the other airbags to function properly.

And of course the airbag warning light will display.
Don't know if all airbags are deactivated but the passenger seat will if the sensor doresn't think there is anyone in the seat.
Will your state's vehicle inspection be a problem?

Where can I find that! That would be the ideal thing to do
