05 UK sport bumper fit on 07 USDM?

Hey all!

So, I was watching Top Gear, season 6 episode 4. The one when their moms test the small cars, the jazz being one.

So the front bumper on the UK Jazz is really appealing to me. I love it!

I'm in the process of finding a new front bumper because mine has some severe damage that isn't repairable. So, has anyone attempted to fit the UK market 05 Jazz front bumper, with the fog lights, onto an 07 USDM Fit?

I'm worried that the fog lights would be in a different place, and that the clips won't match up.

If anyone has any experience with this, or if anyone knows of a thread that can help me that'd be great!

Thanks all.

Corey

You'd have to do a JDM front conversion. I think the UK front end (besides cover) is the same as the JDM one.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

A member from the US has done the JDM conversion previously but has yet to acquire every little bits to fully say that it's "complete."

I remember one of his posts saying the total cost was $4000+ (labor, parts, shipping, etc...) and regrets how much he has spent on it instead of doing a K series swap. After posting some photo then, he's been MIA since 06/07/2012.
Although all this info is for a GE, most still applies to the OP's GD3.

OP you'll need a JDM conversion, but from what I recall the GD3 owners were able to get it more complete. The problem on the USDM GE8 JDM conversions was that plastic panel piece in front of passenger/driver windows.

It will still cost you quite a bit... If I were doing it on a GD3, I'd rather go with the Noblesse front, or Mugen... especially if I'm dropping that much $$$$ on a JDM conversion.
