You need to replace the bezel with a new one, and transfer the heating & AC controls to the new bezel. Unfortunately, it's quite an expensive part, so you'll need to shop around a few Honda dealers to get a good price. You'll need to order a volume control knob as well unless you find a way to remove the old one without damaging it.

Anyone else who has this problem in Southern California, the shop I went to for help is Car Radio Repair Center in Garden Grove on Euclid Street and Westminster Avenue, on the Garden Grove/Santa Ana border. I'm going to print this thread and give the owners a copy of it. I told the shop owner about the forum before I had him look at the radio.
Why don't you guys just buy a newer, more capable deck and call it a day. Your stock radio is 7-8yo. It would cost more to fix than replace. You really would rather fix the stock deck vs. buying an up to date deck with sat radio, bluetooth, streaming b/t, etc for near the same price? I just don't understand I guess. It's like you getting a tube tv repaired vs. buying an lcd tv for the same price giving you HDTV/Audio. This is how i'm reading this thread. Good luck though.
