New Fit owner

Hello All.
I am about to purchase a 2007 Fit Sport.
139,000 on the clock. Dealer had the timing chain and tensioner adjusted, along with valves. A/C condenser replaced, new tires and state inspection done.
Once I take possession I will be checking on plugs to see if they need to be replace along with air filter, and most likely trans fluid.

Anything else I need to look for??
Looks like it is going to make a great commuter car!

Welcome to the boards. I've been a fit owner since 2007. I have 165,000km on my GD3. Original owner.

What I would check/ replace are:

Oil - replace
Plugs - replace
Tranny fluid - replace
Brakes - Inspect
End links - inspect
Ball joints - inspect
Bushings - inspect.

Thanks for that.
Oil was changed.
Brakes, ball joints and those items fall under the State inspection which was done in june.
Plugs and Trans Fluid I planned on doing.
Thank you for reply!!

I'm assuming tie rods fall under the state inflection as well? I'm in Canada so yeah always different. What do you plan on using for tranny fluid? I always suggest GM synchromesh. I also forgot, cabin air filter. Get that shit running clean air.

The most important things that you didn't mention are these:

Valve adjustment should be your co-number 1 priority
Ignition coils is the 2nd co-number 1 priority

Valve adjustment I totally left out. That he may not want to do himself. A little bit of work, depending how handy with tools. I myself need to do one. Coil packs meh. I'm not misfiring or stuttering after 165,000km.

Valve adjustment you can definitely do it on your own. There's a guide on here. It depends how aggressive you drive. My coilpacks are running great

Thanks

Yes the valves were done along with adjusting the chain and tensioner.

Plan to do plugs then coils.
How many qts to do trans?
I assume it is a partial drain like the Acura's I have owned.
Trans fluid will be Honda factory. It is what I have always used on my Acuras
