Hello Fit Freaks,
I got a good deal on my 2007 Fit Sport about a month ago and have since become a Fitfreak. The previous owner of the Fit took good care of it, had it serviced by a Honda Technician and all parts were genuine honda. I am a previous owner of two mid 90s Volvo 850s and an 04 BMW 535. Before the Fit I mostly worked on audio in my cars, a couple oil changes and one radiator in a Volvo 850. I also owned a 1990 Mazda Miata for a short period of time where I learned to drive a stick shift.

So far this is the lowdown on what I personally have done (besides the Walmart oil change)

2007 Sport Manual
Bought with 158,043 miles
Currently has 159,083
Tires- Kuhmo 4X II
Battery- MAXX EverStart (Walmart)
Oil- High Mileage, not sure (With Regret, Walmart)
Plugs- NGK
Air FIlter- Fram
Rotors- Raybestos Coated
Pads- Monroe Ceramic
Calipers- Powerstop Powder-coated Before brake job.
I live in an area that uses alot of salt on the roads during the winter, so everything is pretty rusty. MTF change today with new ramps.


Replaced the transmission fluid today with Genuine Honda fluid, which as records show had never been done. Small studder is gone and shift much smoother. Thanks for that one FitFreak community. Was an easy job and well worth it. I have new black coated drums coming tomorrow because mine are peeling with rust. I am happy this website exists. You all make owning and working on the Fit a blast. Oh, and the car is fun as hell to drive of course. I look forward to posting more threads and more pics of the brakes and etc. tomorrow when its light out.
