Tire Size for 2006 Jazz GD3
Tire Size for 2006 Jazz GD3
Hi guyz, please I need your advice about the tire replacement. My car is a 2006 Honda Jazz 1.5L Vtec.
My car shoe specification is 17x7J ET35 with tire size of 215/40R17.
I have been searching for all the tire shops here in our place with the same size of what I am using now or at least the nearest size but no luck.
The only tire size available in the market is 215/45R17.
My main concern is the rubbing issues.
Any thought guyz?
Thanks in advance.

Hi GinoLicious, I see you're using 55 for the height, but what is the width? and the size of your rim?
Actually, my concern is the front tires, because for 215/40R17 which I am using now, there is a small clearance between the tire and the front mud protector/ cover. But for the rear tires, I think there will be no rubbing issues.
Regards,

My tire specs are 195-55-15. I'm using stock GSR blades on my Fit. Noticed a rubbing isse from the 55. Either dropping it down to stock tire size in the summer.
My winter tires are a totally different game. They are slightly smaller than my summers. For starters I am using the stock wheels that came with the Fit. 14s. I'm also using I think, don't quote me 175/40 or 45/ 14. I noticed no rubbing and my tires turn more freely. More than likely looking into similar tires except in a 15 set up for my Fit.
The summer tires were once on a civic with GSR blades. Civics have bigger wheel wells so that's why it worked better.
