Hello there My name is Alex and im getting my fit tomorrow. Its a 2008 1.5 vtec and 70k miles on it. So far the only things that it needs are cosmetic, mainly because I bought directly from the dealer store as guaranteed 2nd hand. I think it was owned by a lady who loves rings, wrist jewelry and stuff that made several scratches and wear to the steering wheel and left control panel's plastic. Pictures later today. GD is the first generation.
GE is the second generation.
GK is the third and latest generation as of right now.
CAI is an acronym for cold air intake.

Imported? That's pretty cool, I think it would be GE I think. The GD from japan was 2002 to 2005 then the GD from US is from 2007 to 2008 and the GE from japan is 2008 to 2013. I might be wrong about the japan years.

 

Well, as i said im not in the states so different regulations may apply. I found this "COUNTRY OF ORIGIN= JAPAN" thing on my insurance company papers. I know others coming from Mexico and Brasil, BUT i wont know for sure until tomorrow noon i could take some pictures at whatever you want me to check
