Engine Mounts

I am going to be replacing my engine mounts soon as they are worn out. I called parts source and their distributor no longer makes aftermarket mounts for the GD3. Another discontinued part. Honda wants roughly $110 per mount. I want to replace all of mine as 2-3 of them are gone. Not sure about the transmission mounts.

I would fill my old mounts with polyurethane, but can't have my car sitting for days for it to cure. Where can I get some more mounts at a decent price and good quality. I was thinking about getting them from a wreckers and filling those with polyurethane and letting them cure for a week before putting them in.

How many mounts are in total? 3 engine, how many transmission, 2?

3 for the a/t. 4 m/t. There are no decent aftermarket motor mounts for our fits. Just the genuine honda ones. If you go aftermarket, they are all crappy. If you are going to install it yourself, ok go aftermarket. Don't waste you time filling them with polyurethane, been there, done that! Not worth it. If you are going to pay to have them changed, I would get some genuine honda mounts online. They will last you much much longer!!! If 2 or 3 mounts are gone, trust me, they are all gone! They are just hard to see clearly until you take them out. The first one to go is usually the transmission mount and torque mount, then the hydraulic mount, followed by the lower center mount. At least they are all fairly easy to change if you are a diy'er.

Sucks to be manual Fit lol. Well I'm going to bite the bullet. Get my 4 mounts from Honda. $400-$500 for all 4. Could be worse. Could have 4 motor mounts and 4 transmission mounts lol.

DO NOT buy the Innovative mounts.

They do not fit properly. This happened to many of us on here. I just got mine like a month a go and I've been calling them for the last 4 weeks trying to resolve the issue. Terrible customer service too. So this is a warning unless you want to spend $350 on mounts that you have to alter to fit.

I was hoping for hasport or something like that for engine mounts. But I'm going to drive properly not beat on my car and slowly replace all 4 with OEM Honda mounts. Really broke after my coils and the hit and run I was involved in. Those damn deductibles.

Perfect timing! I'll be there in 4 weeks and will hopefully cruise by and pick up some new and improved mounts.

Judging by the customer service I received on the phone and email I'd say we'll both be disappointed. If you're getting mounts for the GD just be prepared to modify the mounts. I didn't install the rear tarns mount so i'm not 100% on that one but the other 2 need to be configured to the car.

I just replaced my driver side lower transmission mount with an aftermarket polyurethane filled mount and it went great.

If you live in socal I have the original mount that I removed that you can have for super cheap. Its definitely old but if you fill it with windoweld it will work just fine.

I just went to the rockauto.com website. They have a whole selection of motor mounts. Am I missing something?

Yeah they have a lot of different brands for the same part. If I had to buy them again I would go to amazon because I have prime now.

Check amazon. It should be less of a hassle.

Hi, I have a question but I didn't want it to start a new tread so here we go:
Are these mounts any good, do they fit well?
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B06XDHDRG3/ref=ox_sc_act_image_1?smid=A2UOOQB4BE3VBX&psc=1#immersive-view_1505701113295 https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B06XDHDRG3/ref=ox_sc_act_image_1?smid=A2UOOQB4BE3VBX&psc=1#immersive-view_1505701113295
... I don't need them to last 10 years, maybe just 5

Anybody tried them?

Js racing motor mounts

A member told me to avoid them because of fitment issues but has anyone seen the set of js racing from vivid racing and does anyone know if the jdm gd3 m/t has different mounts than the us model I've done so much searching for this car and keep finding the same threads over and over about mounts and suspension

Have you tried contacting J's Racing USA?
