Check Engine Light / Oil Line Pressure Switch?

I have a 2007 Fit and engine light came up last night.
The light was on when I started the car this morning but when I took it to the dealer, the light was off. They still took a look at it and found that the oil line pressure switch was bad so replaced it for $280.....

Just curious as to whether it was really related to illuminate the engine light on. Can anybody educate me??

Probably a VTEC oil pressure switch or the whole VTEC valve.

Is there a fault code number in the description on your receipt?
Is there a part number listed on your receipt?
