So I found a 2008 Honda Fit Base on craigslist with 111k miles for $3500. It has a lot of little scratches and dents but is a solid car. I feel like I got a great deal. Anyway, he told me it would cut off when the engine was cold and it probably needed a new catalytic converter. Well after reading through is fine forum I found out that the valves really do need to be adjusted on these things. Turned out that was all that was causing that problem!

Then I started noticing a slight gas smell and lower than expected gas mileage. Again fitfreak comes to my rescue. After spending a few minutes reading here I discover that a loose spark plug will cause that problem and lo and behold you guys saved me once again.

Great that everything worked out so well. Sounds like you got a great deal on that car. It should go for another 111,000 mi.

 

I was not aware kosei made hub caps.

 

Found those wheel covers on eBay for like $25. I'll probably buy some 15" rims at some point but these will get me by until then.
