Unusual aftermarket LED switch. What is it?

My new to me 2008 Honda Fit has an unusual led light. It stays active regardless of if the car is on or off. The light seems to have a switch on the back.

I've got a note out to the previous owner but it was bought off craigslist so getting a response may be difficult.

Picture is attached for reference

Can someone provide some insight?

Was it for sale by owner? or by a dealer? can you trace where the wires go? Could it be one of those devices that remotely kills the ignition if you dont pay your car payment bill?

It must be the Valet Switch for the "EXTRA" aftermarket alarm that dealer try to push to customer as adding "EXTRA" more powerful protection compare to factory alarm, it also function as DISABLED/DEACTIVATING Switch if customer decide not to purchase it.

The finance manager try to sell that aftermarket dealer installed accessories to me at $800!!!
persuading me that it is only about $18 more per month which I reject,

and later on the duebill (because I refuse to buy) it printed out that I REJECT the EXTRA Protection bla bla bla trying to scare customer... and they had to DEACTIVATED the extra protection... and I think they also make me sign a piece of paper saying I don't want the protection or something like that...

so what funny is, that alarm is so cheap that if customer refuse to buy,
the just insert some kind of "plastic key" to make the alarm not working and just leave
the entire control unit and wiring in the car.
they don't even bother taking it out from customer car since it is so cheap...
so much for $800...
because it will cause them much more to take out the wiring and the control unit from the car...

so what happened was I feel it is like a cancer on my car,
so I decide to take mine out...
wow, they do such a bad job since most of the wiring connection is just connected using those quick clip connector that basically pierce into your factory Honda wiring...

so what I did was I remove all the wiring and ecu of that cheap alarm then I cut the factory Honda wire where they pierce and resoldered them again one by one...
