obd2 bluetooth dongle, which one works ?

Hi guys,

I have Dec '05 Jazz GD3, 1.5L VTi

I have obd2 bluetooth dongle that work with Torque Pro App on my CRV but when I tried on my Jazz, didnt work. it couldnt connected to the ecu.

well, I thought the dongle is bit too old, I went and bought the newer version, ELM327 V1.5, guess what, not work !

I believed the obd2 protocol on my Jazz isn't ISO 9141 , must be some sort of CAN

Does anyone know any dongle that will work with my model jazz ?

Cheers

Don't know what the non-USA Jazz uses, but wouldn't the product description in a FOR SALE listing specify that?

You could also contact the manufacturer of the unit you are considering.

mine's jazz 2005 1.5vtec, i guess it's CAN? ISO15765-4 CAN

All OBDII com is can bus based afaik/r, but some versions earlier on have weird timing and even some encryption in them. BMW played this game as well. Only certain dongles worked on them. 2006 and on it seems to have leveled out.
