Using Innova 3040 scanner on my Fit

I bought this scanner because it reads ABS and has a battery and charging system test.
So...
1) I was able to pull ABS code stored since December 2013 (low voltage at ABS pump) caused by dying battery; I got this code because I began to crank the engine immediately after turning ignition ON;
2) the Honda replacement battery (2.5 years old) ended with "yellow" score (recovery voltage 12.2 volts)
This why I miss my first original sealed battery!

Did you have an ABS light on indicating a code?

I have a BRAKE and ABS light on, and tried an Innova scanner to pull a code, but it wouldn't communicate with the module. I also tried a friend's Snap-On SOLUS scanner that wouldn't connect.

This pretty much confirms my conclusion that my ABS module is bad.

it came on after engine start on cold December night (2013) after engine start (together with brake light) but wen away after I pumped brake pedal three times. Is your innova scanner capable of reading ABS codes?

It was listed as working ABS codes for Honda Fits but did not communicate with my module.

Did only your ABS light come on and not the BRAKE light?

Both!
The battery was old.
Upon turning ignition on it takes about 2 seconds in cold weather to test ABS system including supply voltage.
At that day I started to crank engine without waiting 2 seconds after turning ignition on, so the ABS systemdetected low voltage from dying battery and turned warning lights on
