Blower motor issue

2007 Fit Sport
Blower motor stops blowing , if i open and slam the hood it starts blowing again for a while then repeats problom.
Any body have any ideas, i know the blower motor and resister are original.

Get under the dash when the motor quits, tap on the bottom of the fan motor. If that makes it start going, replace it.

Just want to add, if it runs fine on max speed , the resistor could be the problem

I recently had to replace my blower motor at 160K miles. It's an easy job...three screws and a snap connector. Part available from Majestic Honda. If you need additional guidance let me know.
