I have recently changed my 2002 Jazz for a 2006 model. When I got the 2002 I bought a new stereo system which required installing a new fascia at considerable expense. It looks like I am now faced with this again (Halfords estimated nearly £200 for a new fascia plus installation) unless there is some way of transplanting the fascia from the 2002 Jazz into the 2006 one.

Both cars look to have the same fascia footprint (compared to the fascia in the 2009 Jazz which looks considerably different) but are they compatible? The 2002 Jazz is still in my possession albeit off the road and awaiting scrapping, so taking it to Halfords for example is not an option.
