Rain still sleeps through door, idk what to do anymore

so I did what everyone here did. After removing the interior door panel I made sure to reapply adhesive to my plastics liner as well as tape up the holes using the waterproof taping recommended here. Left the panels off and then a few days later When I got the Waterhouse and spray my car window everything held together and the only way the water seeped in (even just a bit) was through the holes where the clips for the exterior panel went...and no point in taping those up since the clips would break the seal. Well it rain the other day and when I got into my car it smelled like water had came in. I don't know what to do at this point is it possible the little rubber window seal needs replacing? I mean it is cracked a bit.

At this point just burn the car down. Take it out to an empty field, light the car and walk away.

(I'm kidding, don't do that!) Pick up a tube of 3M weatherstrip adhesive, part #08008, and remove the door panel again. Check for any areas that may not have properly adhered and apply a bead of the adhesive between the door seal and the door. Also double check that the liner isn't torn or punctured. Then put the plastic back on, leave your door panel off, and soak the car checking for leaks. Good luck

Or you could say to hell with all of the above and pay someone else to do it...

It's also possible that the water is coming in a different door than the one you fixed.

i read that water can leak in from 2 places....the rear hatch at the top so it leaks in and drips from that lil anchor on roof where you would anchor a car seat, and on driver door but that leaks into door not into car.
