Recall/service campaign SRS occupancy sensor?

Recall/service campaign SRS occupancy sensor?
Hi, I have a 2007 Fit (US) and SRS is complaining that there is an open loop to the passenger occupancy sensor. I've read hints that there may be a recall or service campaign by Honda to replace/fix these in Civic, and maybe Fit.
Anybody have any info on such a thing?

Honda website is not listing Fit affected by this recall/service campaign.
An open loop to the passenger occupancy sensor can be caused by disconnecting sensor wire harness during seat removal (or pulling on sensor wire during carpet cleaning); re-connection of the sensor will keep the code in until it erased.

There have been several recalls on the 07 and some ARE SRS related.
Check your VIN for any needed recalls at
recalls.honda.com (USA)
honda.ca/recalls (Canada)
Recalls are always FREE to you!

Thanks all; I found the recall I thought I remembered: it's for 07 Civic OPDS, but not Fit.
I disconnected the battery neg. and tipped the passenger seat back, disconnected/reconnected all six cables underneath, but the alarm comes back. Would anyone know which cable is the OPDS? Near the center console, there are 5 connectors (grey, grey, maroon, yellow, blue). Near the door, there is one lone yellow connector. My guess is that the OPDS is the grey connector with 4 wires (green orange black grey), since I've read that the OPDS has four sensors inside the seat. The yellow should be the seat belt and airbag.
Assuming that's right, does anyone know how to test those four wires? Either to the OPDS itself, or upstream to the SRS?

ODS/OPDS are pretty busy systems.
There are a series of 7 'grids' in the foam cushion of the seatback, there are weight sensors in each seat rail, and there is an entire control unit located in the side bolster of the passengers seat (plus the side airbag in the opposite bolster, on a completely separate harness).
This entire ODS/OPDS system within the seat structure uses 4 wires to connect with the cars floor harness: Power, ground, one that controls the "side airbag off" warning light, and one for communication with the main SRS control unit.
The 4 colors you listed aren't the ones for this system, according to the wiring diagram I see. I'd have to see the colors for myself to be certain.

It sounds like probably either my OPDS module is dead, or a sensor pad is bad. eBay shows _one_ OPDS module (with probably 60% chance that someone is selling their dead one). It looks like my best bet is pulling a $20 seat from the U-Pull-It, and trying to replace the OPDS module. If that doesn't fix it, then replace the sensor pads (which looks like a pain). If no joy, then try a different seat.
This may take a couple of months to sort-out. In the mean-time, if OPDS is dead, what does SRS do? Always deploy frontal air-bag in the passenger seat? (OK by me) Or Never deploy frontal air-bag in passenger seat? (On the assumption that there could be a child there... even though that's prohibited in most states now)

FWIW just so you know, a used replacement seat should have all the needed ODS and OPDS components inside it (plus the weight sensors on the tracks), but you can't just bolt it in and call it good.
All of those systems will need to be "initialized" to the SRS control unit using the Honda scanner (I don't know if any aftermarket scanners can accomplish this) before you can be assured it will work as intended.
Warning lights off does not mean all is well.

Click this PDF link, read the first paragraph ("Background") it explains that corrosion of the wire harness can cause ODS/OPDS problems....and even if the recall was completed that doesn't mean it was done well. It's probably worth checking into this further IMO.

Problem solved. It turned-out to be a loose 10A fuse #7 "SRS" in the fuse panel. This caused the following DTCs:
- 85-61: no signal from OPDS
- 81-61: (same)
- 92-20: open or short in airbag cutoff indicator (the "small passenger" warning light)
...and no other DTCs (very odd). I had assumed I had two problems (e.g. bad OPDS and burnt-out indicator bulb).
