Immobilizer issue

Hey guys, new member here. Just bought a fit with a what i thought was a bad alternator (ran&drove with battery light on until battery ran out). I bought the new alternator, but i decided to check the pgm fi relay 1 & 2 before I did the alternator.

I pulled both, and tested both. Both engaged and disengaged with no issues when hooked up to power. BUT, when I put them back in, I now have an immobilizer issue (flashing key light, cranks but no start, shifter won't engage).

anyone know what multimeter readings I should get from the pgm fi relay 1 & 2 (blue and red #13 / #14 under driver dash fuse panel)?

also, I realized that my power source to test the relays was 18v not 12v. The relays still click when powered, but I can't think of any other reason why the immobilizer system would suddenly stop working.

thanks in advance for any help.
