Question Alternative jacking points

Can I jack the car from this points circle in red?

If you want to know why, its because my jack wont reach easly the middle jackpoint from the front and i cant raise from pinch welds and insert jack stands at the same time.

In my country this short hydraulic jacks are cheap, but if i want to get a professional one, im talking about x5 of what i paid.

I can always make some ramps, but that's not the point.

Yep, those are fine. I've jacked at those points without issue in order to leave room for jackstands at the pinchweld jack points on the side.

Thanks!

Did you just jack it up with the bare metal or used a piece of wood between?

My jack has a little rubber pad, but I've also used a hockey puck, which fits great on my Harbor Freight 1.5 ton jack. I try to avoid metal-on-metal contact like that.

Thanks. Ill try to use a piece of wood. Im just afraid it will slip while jacking the car up and the jack moving forward.

Sadly i cant get a hockey puck as you know it since in my country they play hockey on grass and the puck is a ball

I have a square piece of wood. Ill see what happens.

As others have pointed out...yes. I also use those to jack up the car so I can put jack stands under
