Fans going nuts after coolant flush!

Hey guys,

I just wanted to see if any of you had issues with your fans constantly turning on and off after a radiator flush. I burped the radiator already (twice actually). Do you think the thermostat isn't opening at all? The car isn't overheating (at least the lights not on), but the fans are literally turning on and off every second. It did not do this previous to the drain/fill/burp. Thanks in advance for any insight and God Bless!

Ross

Additional

Also, this is not happening in defrost mode, AC, etc. I know the fans kick on then. Thanks!

You surely have an air bubble (that the fan sensor is 'reading').

Run the engine for 10 minutes. Hold the RPM at 2000 RPM a couple times to get the flow rate higher.

Turn the car off and let it heak-soak a few minutes. Then top-up the cooling system.

Monitor the coolant level for the next 4 - 5 drive cycles.

Check connector on the radiator fan sensor (bottom radiator tank) for coolant contamination or mechanical damage

Ive tried this a few times already, I'm not sure it's doing anything else, but I am gonna try it again, thanks!

This is actually what I was kind of thinking to check next. Where exactly is this sensor? So you mean the overflow tank? Thanks in advance!

Lower radiator tank, next to the lower radiator hose across the oil filter (may need to remove splash shield to spot it right away)
