Has anyone tried putting a GD3 ecu and harness into a GE8 so you can use Hondata?

i read somewhere on the forums (can’t find the post anywhere) that you can swap the timing gear on the crankshaft and ckp sensor (and I’m assuming the engine harness) and the GD3 ecu will work.

im Turbo now with a Ktuner but I’m dying for more than 10 psi.

As a side note I blew a rod out the pan so I’m building my new motor (JE pistons, Brian Crower rods, arp head studs, and the normal stuff) so I figured it’s a good time to ask)
