that looks like a tight ass squeeze. i was looking at the 09 base on our showroom floor and it looks like it would be crammed

the 09 engine sits farther back and looks like it is under the dash. i will be suprised when someone pulls it off. i thought the gd3 was a tight fit.

anything is possible if you have the money but i dont see anyone with it yet. i would look at the j's racing site. they would be the ideal first to do this for their track fit.

it does sit more under the dash/towards the fire wall and under the plastic trim at the bottom of the windshield. Some of the manifold is covered by the plastic trim at the bottom of the windshield as well.

i think it will be a really difficult swap. the k is taller than the l series so i think height clearance will be a problem too because you have a window to deal with instead of just raising the hood.

i think the k20 has a good couple inches height on the l15 but you can also customize the cross member and mounting locations too accomodate for the size. i would just wait for j's or someone on kswap.org to do it.

I'm sure Hasport will make mounts for the GE8 in the future. I am sure JDM tuners have already done the K-swap. We just have to be patient and wait.
