im just curious if theres anything cheaper than the PRM. not that im pinchin pennys i was just wondering. and as i was lookin at the pics i was wondering if the filter could face down at or past the battery. and has anyone seen anything about performance exhaust/headers cause i installed headers and an axle back on my 02 accord and it sounded sweet. i only had an issue with a buzzing noise after installing the headers.

and i agree with manxman if you have a cone filter it will get drenched. when i clean my car i actually have to clean under the hood to keep that lookin new and clean.
And i have an issue..... my girlfriend just bought a brand new cobalt and i need to figure out some type of way to make my car faster. i already know my car is lighter. but i was surprised to find that they put a 2.2L in the cobalt. i need to stay faster than the giirlfriend. and im thinkin ill have to save and get that supercharger kit...

I got to tell you I am not set on any intake system as of yet, nothing I have seen seem so far is in any way shape or form pushing me to get one. I hope within a couple of months we will have more than a handfull of options and opinions and we will have hard facts.

ive heard from a couple people that you can buy the 06-08 honda civic cold air intake (not the SI version). I think it was the BOMZ brand. it has the MAT sensor port but the only down side i saw was that there is alot of tubing.

Hi guys, uhmmm im new here , i just bought an '09 fit sport, but it has AUTO tranny. i was just wondering if i could put that PRM intake.
and is there anything else that i could do with it to make it faster without voiding the warranty on the engine? this is my first "new" car so id like to upgrade it fully, hahah... and im kinda new in the car tuning stuff so im a newbie so to speak.

The PRM '09 Fit intake works on A/T and M/T.. It is the only intake available for new Fits right now. Nothing you do with add-on mods will make the Fit a race car, not even forced induction (turbo or super charger). The PRM intake makes significant power that you can actually feel, and is priced very low for its performance and quality.

any engine mod will void the warrenty just remove everything n take it back to stock when you gotta take it back to the dealer. i really don't see the need to go back to the dealer after you have had your first 7k check up

Magnuson/ Moss Act...
/ Limitations clause. Read and make your own choice of what truth is and what is opinion. Don't act someone's opinions or others fears but your own. Enjoy your car and what results you get from your mods.

I have had mine for over a year and I love it.

and it works great with the HKS hi-power exhuast system

I would disagree that throwing in forced induction will not make the Fit faster. Heck the Fit is so light, boosting it to 150HP will make it go like a "rocket". Just make sure the suspension is tuned to take the extra power.

Old Thread
I'm and archive/old-thread reader. Was looking for a pic or two on how the PRM looks with this setup. Been searching to no avail.
I'm considering doing this on a 2015, with a ram-air setup. Any pics anywhere?

Thanks! I plan on using a 3" PRM. Waiting on one last part I just ordered last night. I was to busy using the site's search engine rather than Googling. I have been finding a ton of stuff lately on the site using Google rather than the search engine.
