KW come on with it...
I wonder if there were more GE owners that showed interest in a supercharger KW may take a harder look at making a kit. Even the Civic fan base started some where. It's a bummer that the Fit aftermarket isn't as big as that of a Civic or RSX or even the XB. I love the Fit and am really starting to like all the GE stuff that is out there.

I think it'll come around. Look at what happened the past few years. It's not the "Honda Community" that failed to embrace the Fit. Consumers around the world failed to embrace just about everything for obvious reasons.
The car came to America right before the economic downturn, was only here for 2 years before a FMC, and it has only been 2 years since the FMC.
KW got screwed on the GD's because there were so few even brought to North America compared to the GE's. If He is basing his decision on what happened with the GD kit sales, then he is citing a pretty poor case in my opinion.

I posted this in another thread...
I called and spoke with Oscar Jackson directly last week. He is an extremely personable guy who was willing to take time out of his day to talk bullshit with me about why there will probably never be a Kraftwerks supercharger kit for the GE. There were a number of reasons, some not entirely clear...others he wasn't willing to elaborate on. The bottom line is that they are focusing on other projects, and also the fact that they were underwhelmed by the response to the GD supercharger kit and have yet to recoup the R&D on that.
Like many have said previously, when the GE becomes 2nd and 3rd owner cars (i.e. paid off several times over) then AND ONLY THEN will we see SERIOUS aftermarket support. I know...it sux hard.
People talk about designing their own "turbo kit" but the question remains, "HOW WILL YOU TUNE IT?" This is the hurdle, everything else is downhill...
I emailed Hondata about a Flashpro solution, unfortunately, they too cited "other projects" as the reason for no tuning solution for the Fit. Again, this is not a priority in the forseeable future.

Kind of makes you wonder what would be the situation if the GD3 was out for a couple more years before the GE8. Definitely would be a larger base of GD3 owners & cars out there, more people to buy the kit... would influence the creation of the kit for the GE8 greatly. Too bad the GD3 was so short lived here in the states, things could have gone much differently.
Or Honda probably should have just passed on bringing the GD and released the GE from the get go in all reallity. Especially since after release in the North American market, the GE was released in Japan at the end of October 2007, a mere almost just 11 months later. The GD was released in January of 2007, correct?
I traded the Fit in for an s2000 this weekend. Just doing my part to get more 2nd and 3rd owners out there for you guys
