Mugen "Quick Shifter"
What about those of us looking for a more aggressive "street" feel? I was thinking about either getting a solid or filling the rear engine mount only, and doing the aluminum shifter and cable bushings with a short shifter? I know it will increase vibrations, but it won't make it vibrate like a race car will it?
Let me explain, I drove a turbo GSR with solid mounts all the way around, and I do not want that much vibration, but I would like it to stiffen up a bit to help with response.

Just fill your rear mount with window weld and run with it. When I replaced mine, I replaced the 2 side mounts (intentions to replace all 3, just was dark outside so waited till the next day) and vibrations were present, but nothing extreme at all (for me) and I could not budge the engine whatsoever, I pushed on it and the whole car would want to move. The 3rd mount added a bit more vibration, but it was not like my 5R Teggy with the 4 solid mounts, but even that one was not a bother at all for me.Definitely at least get solid shifter housing mounts whether they be aluminum or brass. The Mugen does come with harder durometer rubber mounts, but that still allows a bit of play.
Might want to PM those that have swapped over to that metal rear mount and see what their car's feeling is like now. I would still just fill the stock mount versus grabbing that piece.
