Seeing as our fuel here in the states is 91-93, it would have to be tuned for that first of all and that would lower the hp/tq numbers some. Now as far as the number of 142, well, on the dyno that's not too bad when you consider what our car makes stock, what, about 90 hp, I'd be happy with an increase of 50 hp, that's a noticable amount. Also you want the trans/half shafts to hold up down the road, right!

Its going to be interesting to see how people react to the numbers, hopefully there are those who can see the "real world" numbers and what they really do for a car that weights 2600 lbs and is geared pretty low.

for the people that are wanting to make 200+ hp, why did you buy a fit in the first place? Should have just gotten a rsx-s or the new civic si. when you went to purchase your fit you do know that it only comes with the 1.5L and produces around 90 hp to the wheels. the turbo kit for the fit is design for an extra pep in your go. keeping it eco friendly. if you wanted a car to drag race with, why buy a fit in the first place. hks has been around for years and years now. i trust there products and what they built the kit intended specific for the fit. just saying to all the haters wanted to drag race there fits.

I don't recall reading anyone that specifically wants to drag race their car...I see people who are wanting to get more out of the small 1.5L engine that they do have. I bought a Fit because I like the way it looks and its practicality. Granted I've got my injen intake bolted in for a little more power and I will be getting either a turbo or supercharger for it once they become more available. So fuel economy goes down a little bit, but compared to what I used to drive 30 bucks to full it up is not a problem at all. I love my car and can't wait to be able to get more power out of it. I think the majority of people are looking to just get a more spirited drive out of their Fit, not go head to head with a sports car. Or maybe I'm completely wrong and some one does want to try to take on a loaded subaru.

There is one thing you will miss if you boost... Being able to use your skills as a driver that has the ability to use the gear box to stay on the power band... With boost doing that will get you in trouble... My front tires don't even hook up until I hit 40MPH in second gear and if they were to before something would surely break or the clutch would be rendered useless in a short period of time.... Just saying. It is fun to be able to effortlessly walk away from new Mustang GTs on the Interstate when the driver wants to show you how much faster his 315 HP V8 is than your obnoxiously loud econobox is. Beware of old guys driving weirdly tricked out little cars.

i've installed this kit in my car..
https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...tml#post982016

please open the link...
I've tried that on dynotest and the result was 230 Hp on engine with 105 Kpa on boost controller ( i think it is approximately 180++ on wheel, correct me if i'm wrong)

the problem is, the turbine cannot be boosted until more than 1.1 Kpa,, it will keep going down until 80 Kpa.. if the boost could be stabilized in 1 Kpa, the result should be 250-260 Hp on dynotest.. Also, never try to boost stock internal engine for more than 50Kpa, lots of blown engine in Indonesia after tried to boost more than 50 Kpa.. (i don't know in US)
