GE8 Weapon R Header Question

Does any one know what the longer section has for a diameter piping. I want to add a high flow cat on to the pipe and need to know its diametr so I can buy the correct magnaflow cat. Any help would be great. Im not gonna order the stuff until the middle of next month so there is some time to find out.

are you planning to cut a portion of the pipe so you can attach a cat?

Yea I going to cut a section out so I can put a high flow cat. I looked all over and could not find a bolt on high flow cat, so I will just do it my self.

WeaponR released a downpipe that eliminates the primary and secondary catalytic converters. Not sure if they actually market it as a header, but being as you mentioned the GE has the primary pipes cast in, it's the closest thing one can get to an exhaust manifold for it.

Well you see just 1 opening split into 2, inside that there are like 8 openings, 1 for each valve it seems. Scroll down this large JPEG. Thanks to WongKN for this.

i have the closed-coupled Cat Con & the under-floor Cat Con removed, and install cheap-ish test-pipe that is a one-piece thing that replaced both the CAT CON. good performance, but not very reliable since its a cheap-ish grade.

not it has this hissing sound after a year, maybe leaking air/pressure...dunno
