That's something you may want to ask on the GD forum or Hondata directly.

Let's keep the list going everyone! This is fantastic! Maybe we can reach 50+ by the end of this week?

Or, you should address it here.. because it's not going to be a GD specific answer. Hondata won't be able to answer that question either.

The Hondata FlashPro is a tool, a critical one at that.

It's sort of like asking "How much did you gain from your socket set?"

If you want to add things that change VE on an EFI engine, you need a way to correct fueling and spark advance for the change in air mass flow at a given MAP/RPM. Or running a different fuel for that matter.

To further that, how much power you gain is not only car specific but relative to your baseline, the individual dynamometer you took a baseline with and then the follow up appointment for tuning after modification.

Backing up before and after, each with a track visit, is the most accurate method.

Telling you "I made xxx hps, bro" doesn't really mean anything without context.

I'd say this is the perfect place to address the improvements you can make to the car, since this is where you're asking people to commit to spending $700 on the item. I'm not that familiar with engine ECU flashes, I thought it was more of a chip or something. But you're saying it's some kind of tuning tool. So you could use it to make your car more performance oriented or use it to "de-tune" it to get better fuel economy? Oh well I guess it doesn't matter, I'm not going to buy it, and I guess the people that have already signed up know what they're doing!

Thumbs up

F' it... why not, what's the worst that can happen? We get the same reply we've been getting from Hondata... lol.

Exactly! From what've read in the forums, nobody has really got the ball rolling In a group list/buy willing to front the payment. It was talked about yes.

For those of you who have contacted Hondata, who exactly did you speak with? Was he or she a sales manager or just customer service?

If you're close by just go in person, don't bother with an email. It's always better to talk face to face so you can feel them out. I'm pretty sure by now they over look anything related to the GE fit in an email, I know I would. Money talks and it talks even better in person.

Yes indeed! That's my plan to see them in person and talk to the sales manager or someone who can get things rolling for us!

That's why I need the list to be filled with willing prepaying backers! I'm not gonna go over there just to blow smoke up their **s

Keep promoting the list!!!!
