Modding the stock airbox
I just got a 2010 sport, and was looking at the stock airbox and was wondering if anyone has tried opening it up a bit?
My old car was a 08 MazdaSpeed 3 and although i put a Cobb intake on it, it was a well known mod to essentially cut the part below the air filter off. Intakes for the Mazda were also half the cost of what they seem to be for the fit though, and got 3 or 4 times the hp gain.
Anyways, let me know if you have given it a shot!
