I have the one from VG as well, and the reception is no better or worse than stock.

The reception seems about the same as the OEM.

 

Just a heads up I ordered my Visual Garage sharkfin on 12/19 and it is now 1/11 and still has not shipped. I emailed customer service on 1/4 and I was told i was at the top of the queue. By the top they must have meant bottom.

Anyone have a pic of their fit with the SF on??
I'm thinking about getting this.

I'm gonna get white konig retracks on it, and was thinking a white SF. Any advice/tips?? My fit is blue btw, just like TunaDaMan's avatar pic.

 

Their website lists through 2009 model Fit, but my 2010 has same colors as 2009.

 

The car should feel more stable during high speeds like on the freeway as the shark fin helps track the car better.

 

Yes, at around 165mph I can really notice a difference….

Seriously though, the reception has proven to be just as good as the stock unit.

The other thing I really like about it, other than the good looks, is that it doesn’t interfere with those hanging car wash hoses as badly as the OEM antenna.

 

Hey All, Would the ones from Visual Garage work with a 2013/2012 sport model? They have one in Alabaster silver metallic for only the 2009 model. Let me know if this should work!

 

Yes they will fit as no change to the roofs between 09 - present.

 

After almost 2 years of use, this antenna is still secure and working well.

I like it.

 

Here's my VG sharkfin in black on my 2010. Had it on for about 4 months now. No problems. I see no difference in the radio reception.

 

I had hoped to order one after seeing this thread but their website still says "The new website will be launched July 1 2013" ;-/

 

The "dead" web site for VG almost suggests that they actually won't be back in business. I was going to buy the VG product, and kept visiting the site, but July 1 was a long time ago. And unfortunately, none of the other shark fin antenna products seem to be of equal quality to the VG.

 

I actually shot them an email despite what the website says and Arthur responded almost immediately. My 2010 Storm Silver Fit sport is now sporting a perfectly matching shark fin antenna. Their service was excellent and the antenna arrived much faster than estimated ;-) I will take a pic this weekend and post it.

 

Anyone can tell me the difference between the VG and Sonic-beat sold by BeanGarage?
