adding navigation system to Fit 2009

Hi, I live in Argentina and I´m new to this forum and also to Honda cars... I´m about to buy a Fit 2009 EXL 1.5 in Argentina because unluckily there is no sport/navi version here.

I´m going to California nextweek and I was thiking about buying a GPS + DVD maybe like these:

honda fit gps dvd, Parts Accessories - buy and sell on eBay Motors

Have you guys know better options?

Best regards,
Agustin

No proper info on the Navi unit on that listing... I wouldn't trust that product for Navi use outside of China!

Bienvenido boludo!!!

Thanks for the info. I asked Honda Pilar (the biggest Honda car dealer here) and they told me they tried one of these chinese navi units on two cars and they worked just perfect. They can´t recall the model though...

My main question is should should I proceed in order to put a navi system instead of the CD-radio of my Fit´09 EXL 1.5

Thanks!!

PS: Sos de Argentina tmb?

I'd check youtube for vidoes, or hopefully a review. I doubt the CHinese Navi will have maps for Argentina though... can you find out?

PS> Toda mi flia es de BA... pero yo en particular no... saludos!

Hhmmm.. If it´s that risky/complex I guess I´d just buy a Garmin Nuvi. Also for security reasons (it´s easy to hide). Thieves already took a GPS from my car and I´d hate they break into the Fit just because the DVD/GPS

I´ll ask the car dealer to keep me posted if they install again the chinese Navi.

Thanks anyway!

PS: Yo vivo en BA pero viajo bastante. Y como que me rompa mucho las bolas la inseguridad acá, me iré a otro lado (me iba a comprar un Audi TT en enero pero aflojé justamente por ese tema... un garrón)

We are a taxi company Hummingbird Cars in London. We provide Airport Transfer service from all london airports.

I heard that Tom Tom gives you the most functionality...ie you can select a rout. I have a Garmin Nuvi 350. It's a great navigation aid, but I do wish I could input a prevered rout.
