Will My USB Flash Drive Fry In The Heat?
The owner's manual says one shouldn't leave a portable flash drive hooked up if it's hot, but it kinda defeats the purpose if I have to disconnect it every time I exit the car in the Summer. I have never used a flash drive in a car before. Anyone had theirs fry because of leaving it in the car?

Kingston rates their flashdrives good up to 180f, and can operate at up to 140f, so I don't think you have much to worry about, especially in the glovebox where they are out of direct sunlight.
If you look up your model, you might be able to find it's specs online.

As long as you keep it away from direct sunlight and closed inside your glove box you should be fine.
Its amazing how temps vary inside the car where there is sun light and where there isn't.

Ipod left in hot car
I too was worried about it, so I gently poked the usb wire out the back of the ipod glove box (the upper one) and routed it into the lower glove box. The ipod now lives in there for good, and it doesn't get nearly as hot as when it's in the the upper one.
