Pedal slippage

So I have this problem where my foot slides around on my pedals now and then; what I mean is they often come close to slipping off the clutch, or slipping UP the brake pedal and onto the arm of the pedal etc. I've tried to clean/dry them off of course, and I wear pretty normal shoes so I can't really imagine that would be the issue entirely.

I could put up with it, its not been dangerous so far - but winter gets pretty crazy here in Canada sometimes and I'm looking to get some pedals with more grip to them - preferably a wider clutch/gas pedal too. Anyone have any suggestions?

09 + Honda Fit Racing Pedal Set

Here are the only GE8 M/T pedals I know of; however, if you can some with the rubber grips like this...

...then go for it. I have these A/T pedals and my foot has yet slip off, even when driving in socks.

I skateboard actually so this is a very hitting-home kinda awesome idea; I just might have to try it - but of course I'd rather get sport pedals if I can find some right.

Is there anywhere I can view that part picture-wise? I've never ordered or searched for Honda parts before. Oh and were there any fitment issues at all them being GD3 pedals? I wouldn't think so but I'm just checking whether or not they were easy to install as well. Thanks!

Awesome! thanks man both of those look like they'd be just fine and certainly better than stock.

Given that I've never removed / replaced a pedal before; is there much to it? I'd imagine not but you never know right.

You can get grip tape made for jacuzzi/hot tub/deck applications at hardware stores like Menards or Lowes. The new pedals would proly look less ghetto tho haha

I'm sure you already bought pedals, but any accessory pedals (usually aluminum covers) that have raised points will help with grip. I've had ones that weren't raised and it didn't help with slippage, so avoid those.
