So I was hanging out with some old 'headbanger' type friends.. and we were generally discussing music... and I mentioned the one thing I like about my car is that the radio goes up to 40... and they said "Decibels?"

Of course, I just meant the dial.. cause I'm sure we've all heard the old jokes about turning up the amp to 11...

But it got me thinking to wonder what the maximum dBs are with the stock system... I mean the volume numbers of kind of arbitrary and meaningless.

Has anybody here actually ever measured the output potential of their stock system?
