Putting 1200 rms system in fit. Will it be ok?

So I want a shop to install my system in my 2015 fit. I've done installs in the past on older cars and don't want to damage anything so that's why I'm getting a car audio shop to do it. My amp puts out 1300 rms at 14 volts. Will it be ok to put this high wattage system in this car? I just don't want to have any issues

As mentioned in your other thread, you need the big 3. HO alternator, dual battery with isolator, and large farrad cap.

The reason your stock OEM system cannot handle it is one, the size of your battery, if you havn't looked at it, its SMALL. Second, the alternator is a 90A, and is only capable of running what is stock, nothing more.

A 1200 watt RMS amp, likely class D topology at 14 volts will be drawing around 120 amps on demand. That will for sure drain and damage your electrical system. Adding extra storage and charging capacity is a must. Any pro shop will tell you this, and experienced forum members I'm 100% sure will echo my recommendations. At the very minimum you should do the dual battery and cap if you cannot afford the HO alternator. That will get you going, but its an essential component to beef up your system.
