Arrow New pedals and mats!

So I finally picked up my carpeted mats from the dealership and installed them, but thought about how boring the pedals looked. My buddy and I had to go to PepBoys and Autozone and I saw some decent looking pedals and picked them up. Now I'm not trying to be cheap by buying them instead of the ones our sponser sells, but I thought "what the hell". I think the finished product looks good and remember, I've got an automatic...unfortunatly, so I don't get to do any fancy footwork

I really like the mats too, now I've got a set for all the seasons! BTW, the pedals were $20.00 and they've got several styles to chose from, almost bought the black ones and still might go back and get them as it will be easy to match up the dead pedal to them because as you can see, they don't match up but then again, the dead pedal is custom. I'm going to try and get some vinyl to overlay onto the dead pedal, what do you guys think?

I think it looks good.

I've always wanted red pedals to match my exterior.

Is it difficult to remove the old ones and attach the new pedals?

They're actually covers that go over the existing pedals and very easy to install!

I got knockoff Mugen pedals on ebay, payed $28 plus shipping. Came from China, got 'em in about 4 days. Quality is spot on aside from having to drill through the gas pedal, no biggie though.

right way is to drill it. but i just made sure that both surfaces were clean and used double sided tape. the cleaning is essential b/c the first time, my surface was till dirty. an the pedal fell off.. while i was driving!

Hey those look good! I have the real deal Mugens and I love them! Getting ready for our first car show in the morning and they still clean up like new even though I've had them for almost 3 years.

My dead pedal doesn't match except for the hole pattern, I'm going to try and get some machine turned aluminum vinyl to cover it in because it would match the pedals even better. Its real stainless steel, so it shines nice and I'm going to see if my buddy is up for making me a brake and gas pedal to match it, making it truely custom

What's holding the dead pedal in place?

I like the mats. Are the bottoms foam or rubber. My 97 Civic had nice rubber bottoms but our 08 Si came with with really crappy mats with a cheap foam bottom. I'd be curious to know how these ones are.

The mats are rubber with the little teeth to provide a bit of extra grip, these are must have for any Fit, nice quality but get the rubber mats for winter duty
