Power wire length to amp in the trunk?

I was wondering if anyone here with a sub and amp in the trunk could tell me approximately how many feet of power wire they used to reach the amp. Thanks.

I just removed my two 0awg runs from my GE and they were both about 13ft. But I would get 15ft to be on the safe side. The wire went to a fused dist block right behind the rear seats. I hope that helps.

i know this thread is ancient but thought i would chime in for anyone running power for amp. i ordered 17 feet of 4 gauge and ended up being perfect. gives you a comfortable loop over battery (factory intake box is in the way to loop towards passenger side and behind battery). in trunk this length will reach to about midpoint of spare tire. i was going mount my amp to a board and leave in spare tire, but between the heat, and the cables not having any space to run between spare tire and wood trunk floor (i didnt want weight of sub box pressing amp wires against spare rim, and maybe eventually cutting through) i decided to mount amp to backside of sub box (between box and rear seats). Theres just enough power cable to run along bottom backside of rear seats and pop out between the two floor flaps.

i plan to someday replace the oe trunk floor with thicker wood, and probably mount the amp to bottom side of it, and maybe an exhaust vent with a fan attached that powers on with amp.
