Stock Navi - Internal fuse?

Stock Navi - Internal fuse?
Anyone know if there is a fuse inside the stock GE8 Honda Navigation unit? The unit will open and is getting power but the screen is blacked out.
The back-story is: I pulled the battery cable to modify my audio setup. I did leave some speaker cables loose in the back and they may have touched (my bad). Also, I couldn't remember my code at first, I tried three or four times, and the next time I turned on the car the screen was black.
I have tried pulling the battery cable for 30+ minutes and the screen just won't come on.
The only thing left then I guess is that the speaker wires may have crossed and sent the Navi unit into a fault and it shut down the screen (again the unit has power, it will open).
I don't have any speakers hooked up so cannot test the audio right now, but they wouldn't work anyway because the correct code has not been entered yet!
So, does anyone know of a specific fuse I could check? Nothing else electrical has gone out. Specifically, I am curious if there is an internal fuse on the Navi, or any other way to reset the blacked out screen.
Anyone had this issue before? If it's broke, no biggie I'll just buy an aftermarket unit. Thanks for any suggestions.

- I tried hitting every button combination like #1 and #6 etc....no dice.
- I called 2 Honda dealerships and they don't believe the screen will go black and lock the unit even if I enter the code too many times, so I guess I believe them.
