Started today mocking the tire well up. Everything fits perfectly in the tire well and still will give me full use of the hatch when needed by taking out the small sub box easily. I will also add a fan in the tire well as the amp has a fan hookup on it to cool it down if it gets too hot.

I'll post up more pics as it progresses.

HU - Pioneer AVH-P4200DVD
Doors - Shok Industries 6.5 component set in front, Shok 6.5's in the rear doors as a midbass with no tweeters
Sub: Crossfire 12 in a sealed box for now, will e either 1 nice 10, or 2 8's.
Amp: DLS A7..this amp is the shit
Battery - Stock up front, Kinetec HC600 in the tire well.

 

Im running that same amp good stuff!

 

Got the car all ready as far as I can right now until (RCA's, HU, and 4 gauge show up), might add some damp pro to the front doors.

Tweeters Mounted



Front Doors - Used the stock Speakers as a mounting ring, just cut out the stock speaker from the mounting ring.

RCA's will be ran down the center


Power and ground wire will be ran down drivers side if it fits

 

I've never been a big car audio buff but I think I'm going to follow this so I can learn a bit.

 

The fit is super easy to take apart and add onto. If there is a car to get involved its the Fit.

Its 2 screws to take a door off, they go back on super easy.

The Fit Sport does sound pretty good IMO, it must be the tweeters, as the stock 6.5's in the doors are pretty cheap.

 

Deck came today, so I got that all wired up and ready to pop in. With 12 relay bypass of course.

Just need my RCA's, Power Wire, and Speaker Baffles now.

 

Update: finished this up awhile ago and sound is great.

The stock speakers in the sport dont sound too bad, but this is much better.

Also the bos is only 1.6cu and is very easy to take out when I need to haul in the fit.
